👉 Joining Velocity
I wanted to 10x my growth this month, so I joined a special program within TKS called Velocity. We discuss powerful mindsets such as stoicism and talk about people who have influenced the world with their drive and determination, such as Naval Ravikant. Learning about such mindsets has been such a blessing, especially as a junior in high school when determination is critical.
🔥 Launching My Personal Website
Been months in the making. Finished up the YouTube tutorial coding the site in HTML, CSS, and JS. I transferred my website to its own Netlify domain: sherman-amanda.netlify.app, where you can view the entire site. You can look around and see the cool effects. The next step is to add a project showcase with live links. That’s going to be done sometime around April.
🙌 International Design Finalist
This month, I found our that our team’s design submission, Purifi, placed as a Finalist in the international university-level CBDX Design Challenge out of 142 teams! Our solution integrated phytoremediation to clean polluted air in New Delhi through the use of moss plants on public transportation. Shoutout to Simone Lilavois, Angelina Lim, Fatimah Hussain, and Linda Wei for being amazing teammates! You can see our one pager here.

Remember Finessify? If you don’t, it’s basically a web application that integrates AI to curate the most efficient schedule possible based on the user’s input. So far, we have a Figma mockup, a landing page, and a web app. My friends Raghav, Praneeth, and I submitted the app to the Diamond Challenge, one of the world’s most prestigious business competitions for high school youth. Out of 835 teams, ours qualified to go forward into the judging round along with 514 other teams from around the world. Results are coming out in about a month, so wish us luck!
